Park Shin Hye, who is usually bubbly and bright, took on a major transformation when she went blonde for a photo shoot for the fashion magazine Sure




For the July edition of Sure, Park Shin Hye took eight pages of photos with the trendy concept of ‘the romantic look,’ flaunting off her new blonde hair.

Looking like an adorable doll, Park Shin Hye gave chic and confident poses, gaining praises from the photo staff.

A representative of the magazine said that Park Shin Hye, as a trendy fashion icon herself, did a great job in fully understanding the concept.


A representative of Park Shin Hye’s company, 4Him Entertainment, said, “This was the first time Park Shin Hye has ever had a blonde hairstyle. She really enjoyed challenging herself with new things during this photo shoot.”




In related news, Park Shin Hye will start promoting the drama, Heartstrings in Japan with CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa in July.

She will also be starting promotions for her upcoming movie December 23.

Park Shin Hye is going for a ghastly role.

Park Shin Hye was confirmed to be starring in the upcoming KBS one-act drama special Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost. She will be starring opposite Bong Tae Gyu.

The special drama centers on a man who wakes up in a hospital with no memories and no recollection of the past.

He comes to meet a lovable ghost and romance begins to develop between the two. Bong Tae Gyu will play the man, ‘Moon Gi’, while Park Shin Hye will play the ghost, ‘Yeon Hwa’.



For Park Shin Hye, it marks a return to television drama in a year since the 2011 MBC Heartstrings while for Bong Tae Gyu, this will be his first drama in two years since MBC’s Personal Taste.

The special drama will air on July 15.

Actress Park Shin Hye will be making her small screen comeback as a ghost. It’s been announced and confirmed that Park Shin Hye will be joining the cast of KBS drama special season 3, “Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost,” which is scheduled to premiere July 15. The upcoming drama marks Park Shin Hye’s return to the small screen in a year after having starred in last year’s “Heartstrings” with CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa.

“Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost” is about Moon Ki (Bong Tae Gyu) who loses his memories, wakes up at a hospital, and meets a loveable ghost named Yeon Hwa (Park Shin Hye). The two eventually fall in love. The show’s producer Lee Eun Jin stated, “We couldn’t imagine any other actress, other than Park Shin Hye, who would be perfect for Yeon Hwa’s role. While she is a ghost, she has more life in her than any other living beings. Park Shin Hye simply is the lovable Yeon Hwa.”

In related news, Park Shin Hye will join her former co-star Jung Yong Hwa in Japan for a “Heartstrings” fan meeting this July.

After being confirmed to star in the upcoming KBS one-act drama special, Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost, Park Shin Hye showed fans that she was already studying hard to memorize her lines.





On June 26, Park Shin Hye tweeted, “I returned summer vacation as soon as it came and am filming…^^^^v Amazing scene numbers…Ah~ It’s so hot~!!”

In the photo she uploaded with her tweet, Park Shin Hye hid her face with her newest script book for Don’t Worry, I’m a Ghost, which was decorated with a countless number of multi-colored Post-It tabs, marking each of her scenes.

Playing a lovable ghost in the drama, Park Shin Hye will be acting alongside Bong Tae Gyu, who will be acting the character of Moon Gi, a man who wakes up at the hospital with no recollection of his memory.

This will be Park Shin Hye’s first television project in a year, since finishing up MBC’s Heartstrings in 2011.

The special drama will air on July 15.

Park Shin-hye cast to play ghost in KBS drama special



Korean actress Park Shin-hye has confirmed her role in KBS' forthcoming drama special, her agency 4HIM Entertainment said through a press release on Tuesday.

In "Don't Worry, Because I'm a Ghost" (translated title), Park will play a ghost named Yeon-hwa and the cast members will begin the shooting later this week.

��Ghost,�� which will air starting on July 15, will draw out the incidents that happen to Moon-ki (played by actor Bong Tae-gyu), who wakes up one day at a hospital after losing his memory. When he wakes up, he finds a lovely ghost, Yeon-hwa, next to him and the two fall in love with each other.

"We couldn't think of any other actress to take on the role of Yeon-hwa besides Park.
Park herself is Yeon-hwa, who is a ghost in the story but has more lively energy than any other human beings," producer Lee Eun-jin said, explaining about the reason for choosing the actress to take on the role.

4HIM added that Park was excited to star in the upcoming special, following her move "December 23," and that the actress is studying hard on how to portray herself as the imaginary character.

Park first gained fame in Korea after appearing in the hit TV series "Stairway to Heaven" (SBS, 2003) starring Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Ji-woo.

Her filmography also includes movies "The Evil Twin" (2007), "Cyrano Agency" (2010) and animation "Green Days," in which she has lent her voice to a female character.

With CNBLUE's Jung Yong-hwa, whom she has starred in "Heartstrings" with, Park is preparing for her fan meeting to be held in comemmoratin of the premiere of the pair's show in Japan, on July 16.

"Heartstrings," which had aired in Korea between June and August last year, will hit the airwaves in Japan on Fuji TV, on July 9.

Actress Park Sin-hye will be coming back with a short KBS Special Season 3 Drama "Don't Worry It's a Ghost". This drama is about a man who wakes up in a hospital with no recollection and a lovely ghost who appears in front of him. Park is currently thinking hard on how to express the character Yeon-hwa in her own unique way. The coming together of Park Sin-hye and Bong Tae-gyu is also something else to look forward to.

Park Sin-hye's "Don't Worry, It's A Ghost" will be aired on the 15th of July at 11:45PM.

A new movie starring actor Ryoo Seung-ryong and actress Park Shin-hye cranked in last week, according to the pic's promoter NEW on Tuesday.

NEW announced in a statement that Ryoo began shooting the Korean film tentatively titled "December 23," in the city of Daejeon on June 20.

NEW also revealed a still shot of the actor taken during the first shooting, which shows Ryoo donned in a bright blue prisoners uniform. The officials explained that the scene is the moment when Ryoo's character meets his cellmates in room 7 for the first time.

Ryoo will be playing a slightly mentally challenged man named Yong-goo, who will do anything for his daughter named Ye-seung (Park).

The actor made his debut at the age of 15 in a stage musical and has since starred in a number of series and dramas. He is well-known for "Blades of Blood" (2010), "Battlefield Heroes" (2011), "The Frontline" (2011) and "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon" (2011).

He recently played the role of a Casanova in the romantic comedy "All About My Wife," co-starring Lim Soo-jung and Lee Sun-kyun.

Meanwhile, Park first gained fame in Korea after appearing in the hit TV series "Stairway to Heaven" (SBS, 2003) starring Kwon Sang-woo and Choi Ji-woo.

On June 26, Park tweeted a picture and commented “As soon as the summer break began, I gave it up for a shooting. Amazing scene numbers… Ah~ It’s so hot!”

Park Shin Hye Poses ‘Like a Sir’ for ‘Beauti+’

The adorable and endearing actress, Park Shin Hye, transformed into a smoky-eyed gentleman woman for the latest edition of the fashion magazine Beauti+.

Gracing the cover of Beauti+, Park Shin Hye donned refreshing outfits for the summer, accessorized with various bracelets, hats, and necklaces. In one photo, she held up a necklace with a mustache attached to her nose and created the image of the popular meme ‘Like a Sir.



The focus of the photo shoot was the blue eyeliner, which was the winner of the recent survey for ‘a must try make-up color during this year’s vacation.’ Blue took 41 percent of the votes.

A Beauti+ staff complimented Park Shin Hye on her flawless and fair skin, which was so clear it looked photoshopped, and said, “Because her skin was so clean, it was very easy to portray the smoky eye make-up.”



Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye will be filming the movie December 23 co-starring with Ryu Seung Ryong, Jung Jin Young, and other stars who have been noted for their worthy acting skills.

Actress Park Shin Hye recently had a photoshoot with 《 BEAUTY+ 》 July issue. A picture of her in heavy make-up, appearing in the style of a 'Gentlemen' was revealed.

She was chosen to be the model of the month for SNS Magazine to pose for《 BEAUTY+ 》. In the photoshoots, actress Park stunned everyone with her flawless complexion and even one of the magazine staff thought that the pictures were being ps (photoshop) before it was released online.

The staff added on "I always knew that Park Shin Hye has a really good skin complexion, but never did I know that after the photoshoot, her spotless and perfect skin complexion really makes people wonder that the pictures were being ps before. Therefore, by looking only at her eyes, which has heavy eye-liners, we can obviously see through the personality of the smoky make-up."
