Park Shin Hye signs a contract with Japanese IMX

Park Shin Hye recently signed a contract with Japanese entertainment company IMX.

IMX has led many Korean top stars to become successful in Japan, including, Bae Yong Joon, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Min Ho, So Ji Sub, Son Ye Jin, Ahn Jae Wook, ZE:A, and more.

They are servicing Korean TV series on the internet for the first time in Japan and are well known for promoting Hallyu business.

A spokesperson for Park’s agency says, “We decided to sign a contract with IMX since Park became very popular in Japan.”

A spokesperson for IMX says, “Japanese people love Park very much. She is very beautiful and a talented actress. She is also good at singing and dancing. She will become a queen of Hallyu.”

Park went to Japan on October 13 and gave several interviews with Japanese magazines.

박신혜가 일본 내 한국 엔터테인먼트 비즈니스의 대표적인 기업인 IMX(인터랙티브미디어믹스)와 손잡고 일본 무대로 본격 진출에 나선다.

이미 국내 인기드라마 <미남이시네요>를 통해 ‘차세대 한류퀸’으로 일본에서 상당한 인기를 누리고 있는 박신혜가 일본 내 IMX와 에이전시 계약을 체결해 본격적인 일본 무대 활동에 박차를 가하는 것.

IMX는 배용준을 비롯해 이준기, 이민호, 소지섭, 손예진, 안재욱, 제국의 아이들 등 국내 정상급 스타들의 일본 진출을 성공적으로 이끈 엔터테인먼트 기업이다.

박신혜의 소속사 관계자는 “박신혜의 일본 내 인지도가 크게 올라감에 따라 일본 내 전문적인 매니지먼트가 필요하다고 판단돼 IMX와 계약을 체결하게 됐다” 고 밝혔다. 이에 IMX 관계자는 “현재 일본 내 박신혜의 인기와 팬들의 기대심리가 생각보다 대단하다. 인형 같은 빼어난 외모에 나이에 걸맞지 않는 탁월한 연기력, 이외에도 수준급 이상의 노래 실력과 댄스 실력 등 멀티테이너로서의 자질이 뛰어난 배우로, 잠재적인 스타성이 남다르다. 앞으로 일본에서의 큰 활약과 한류퀸으로의 자리매김이 누구보다 기대되는 배우다”라고 극찬을 아끼지 않았다.

한편, 박신혜는 지난 10월 13일, 일본 내 한류 유력 매체들의 뜨거운 러브콜에 의해 일본을 방문해 ‘여성자신, 주간여성, Hot Chili Paper, 한국fan매거진’ 등과 인터뷰를 진행했으며, 동시에 IMX와 계약을 체결해 본격적인 일본 내 활동의 시작을 알렸다.

3회 PISAF 심사위원장 '존 머스커' 온라인 심사위원 '박신혜' 선정

(아시아헤럴드=김남동 기자) 오는 11월 4일 개막하는 제13회 부천국제학생애니메이션페스티벌(PISAF2011)이 국제학생경쟁, 온라인 경쟁 주요 부분의 심사를 책임질 심사위원 명단을 발표했다.



심사위원장은 인어공주의 아버지로 불리는 존 머스커가 맡는다. 온라인 심사위원에는 배우 박신혜 등을 비롯해 7명의 심사위원이 선정됐다.

'국제학생경쟁'에는 2D 애니메이션의 대표적인 감독으로 '인어공주·알라딘·헤라클레스·공주와 개구리' 등 시나리오와 프로듀서를 담당한 월트 디즈니의 세계적인 애니메이션 감독 '존 머스커'가 선정됐다.

심사위원으로는 교토 세이카 대학 총장 '츠보시 시게키', (사)한국만화애니메이션학회 부학회장 김성남 예원예술대학교 만화애니메이션 전공 교수 , 3D입체애니메이션 '아바타'제작에 참여한 AUT 대학 '존 파이퍼' 교수, 중국 항주국제동만제 임원으로 영화제 오프닝과 Monky King 시상의 업무를 담당한 '꺼 지쥰' 등이 참여할 예정이다.

'온라인경쟁' 부문은 1997년 '히치콕의 어떤 하루'를 시작으로 드라마 '순수한 기쁨·미안하다 사랑한다·겨울연가·소중한 날의 꿈' 등을 연출한 한혜진 감독이 심사위원으로 선정됐다.

Actress Park Shin Hye is selected as one of the seven judges for the 13th Puchon International Student Animation Festival (PISAF).

Held annually, PISAF is a student -oriented animation festival and its concept originated in an idea for joint exhibition of graduation works of Korean animation majors. PISAF features a student's competition section which inspires their creativity, imagination and passion. In addition, PISAF invites students and indie directors from home and abroad and helps branding of their talents through exhibition, workshop and screening.

For this year's PISAF, seven 'online judges' are selected to judge the animation entries from students. The judging panel is led by American animation director John Musker who created Walt Disney's celebrated animation 'The Little Mermaid' (1989). Actress Park Shin Hye and 5 other professionals are also on the panel.

PISAF will open for 5 days starting November 4 2011. Korean animation film 'Green Days' (2011), which stars Shin Hye as one of the voice dubbers, will be played on November 6 and 8 at the festival. Besides, an educational event called 'Green Days Master Class' will also be held on November 6 at 1-2pm
