Singer Lee Seung Gi and actress Park Shin Hye to guest on ‘Running Man’



Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi and actress Park Shin Hye will be appearing as guests on an upcoming episode of SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘.

A representative of Lee Seung Gi confirmed the news on November 12th and it’s been revealed that the two guests are currently filming together with the ‘Running Man’ cast members near Gangnam, Seoul.

This will be Lee Seung Gi’s first appearance on a variety program since leaving SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ back in April. The singer received much love and praise for his variety skills on ‘Strong Heart’ and ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, so many are anticipating to see his interaction with the ‘Running Man’ cast members.

The episode featuring Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye will air on November 18th.

After staying low in variety for awhile, Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye will be appearing as guest on SBS’ Running Man.

According to a station affiliate and an employee of Lee Seung Gi’s agency, Hook Entertainment, Lee Seung Gi and Park Shin Hye filmed for Running Man on November 12.



Not only is Lee Seung Gi’s return to variety shows being highlighted, but the fact that he is coming on the rival program of KBS 1 Night, 2 Days, which he was a permanent cast of for many years, is also bringing attention.

“There’s been a lot of attention that’s being brought upon his appearance on a rival program, but Lee Seung Gi is appearing on Running Man to promote his upcoming album and concert,” stated Hook Entertainment.

“It’s not as if 1 Night 2 Days invites guests on the show, or he chose Running Man over 1 Night, 2 Days after being invited to both. It’s unfortunate that this rivalry with 1 Night, 2 Days is being focused on.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye recently made a cameo appearance in Taiwanese remake of SBS You’re Beautiful, while Lee Seung Gi is currently preparing for his comeback as a singer.

The Running Man episode will air on November 18.

Actress Park Shin Hye recently showed off a cute look.

On November 14, Park uploaded a picture of herself on her Twitter account with the comment, “I spent a good time with people from my agency after finishing the shooting of Running Man. Did you see? It snowed last night for the first time this year. It was short, but I saw it with people whom I love. I was so happy.”

In the picture, Park is wearing a thick padded coat because of the cold weather. She’s just exposing her eyes, covering most of her face with a hood.

People responded: “I should watch the episode of Running Man, on which Park Shin Hye appears.” “She seems to be enjoying the moment.” “She’s so cute.” “She’s so pretty even if she’s only showing her eyes.”

Park recently shot an episode of SBS TV’s Running Man as a guest with Lee Seung Gi. The episode will air on November 18.

After news broke out that Park Shin Hye and Lee Seung Gi were guest starring on SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘, Lee Seung Gi was spotted filming the show and now Park Shin Hye has also been spotted taking part in the recording.

The snapshot spreading online shows Park Shin Hye wearing matching orange jackets with ‘Running Man’ cast members Kim Jong Kook and HaHa while on their way to complete a mission, raising the anticipation for the upcoming episode. As Lee Seung Gi was spotted in a red jacket with two of the other members, it seems he and Park Shin Hye will be competing against each other on different teams.

Park Shin Hye also updated fans recently as she tweeted on the 13th, “Last night I finished filming ‘Running Man’ and had a good time with my agency family. B.U.T!! Everyone..did you see it… ? The first snow came!!!!! I watched together with people who love the snowfall, which by the way was short, but came down a lot. I was happy♥″, along with a photo taken with her agency colleagues.
